Enrollment FAQs

  • Do you accept online applications?

    Yes. You can enroll online here. Paper copies of the enrollment packet and additional enrollment support are available at Libertas' main office. Please contact the school for the latest information about completing your enrollment. 

  • How many seats are available in each grade?

    Libertas has limited seats available in each grade, with the most opportunities for new students in 4th and 6th grade.

  • When is the lottery?

    Libertas College Preparatory Charter School lottery will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The deadline for applications to be included in the lottery is Monday, February 24th, 2025.

  • What if I miss the lottery?

    Families can continue to submit interest forms at any point in the year. After the lottery, all interest forms are added to the waitlist for that grade in the order they are received.

  • Do I have to live in the school district to apply?

    No, you don't need to live in a specific district to apply to Libertas College Preparatory Charter School. Libertas is a public charter school with open enrollment, so any family can apply.

  • How will I know if my child has been accepted?

    Families are notified of their child's status by mail, email, and text message. If accepted, the school will provide information on next steps.
